The first possibility to acquire an aquatics ticket to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics was the European Synchronised Swimming Champions Cup, organised in the King Willem-Alexander Sports Complex in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands.
Together with a team of professionals and volunteers, I helped organize this event in which the best team (Russia) and the best two duets (Russia and Ukraine) qualified.
I had the overall responsability for organising the competition, co-ordinating with the teams for volunteers, hospitality, marketing, finance and side events.
